Henry
Hinn was born and raised in Jaffa, Israel. The family
of 5 brothers and 2 sisters immigrated to Canada. Through
the witness of his brother Benny Hinn, Henry’s
life was dramatically transformed in 1975. The anointing
of the Lord fell on his family resulting in his call
to full-time ministry in 1978, and established Henry
Hinn Ministries.
Henry
is a man with a call on his life, a call to bring God’s
people into complete restoration in every area of their
life. He has been used mightily with signs and wonders,
building people’s faith to receive their miracle
and experience the presence of God. He has witnessed
crowds of thousands who have accepted Jesus Christ as
their Lord and Savior as a result of seeing the power
of God. |
Henry
is in constant demand as a conference speaker and has ministered
in some of the greatest churches in North America and around
the world. He has been on many networks internationally and
in North America. He has his own program, “Life in the
Spirit”, which airs in North America and in some parts
of the world. Henry has had the privilege of praying and ministering
to presidents, prime ministers and personally leading many
leaders to the Lord.
The strong emphasis of Henry’s ministry
is the “Anointing of God” and the presence of
God which breaks the yoke of bondage and changes the heart
of man. The ushering of the power and the presence of the
Holy Spirit which is imperative and releases the Gifts of
the Spirit and flows in the services through worship that
results in the supernatural manifestations of God’s
power, which causes lives to be changed forever.
While serving the Lord in Toronto, Canada
he met and married his wife, Donna in 1980. God spoke to him
to begin the International crusades while living in Michigan.
He began the Holy Spirit conferences and Jesus festivals,
which drew thousands in attendance and were life changing
experiences. His ministry base moved to Orlando, Florida,
and in 1987 he founded the church Vancouver Christian Center,
an international church in Vancouver, British Columbia, with
over 100 countries represented in the church. Besides the
responsibilities in pastoring one of the greatest churches
in Canada, Henry Hinn Ministries holds crusades in North America
and around the world. He also founded Signs and Wonders School
of Ministry in 1988 which is dedicated to moving God’s
people into hands on ministry and fulfilling the high calling
of God on their lives. Also, Henry continually helps his brother
Benny bringing the healing power of God to a hurting world.
Pastor Henry and his family reside in Southern
California while he continues to minister around the world
and pastor Vancouver Christian Center.
